At Palette & Parlor we believe Scandinavian design works beautifully in a variety of interiors.

We are entrepreneurs and North Carolina natives. Drawing inspiration from our time living in Copenhagen early in our careers, we built our business to pair timeless modern design with southern sensibility and a distinctive point of view. We are here to be your ally in choosing well-made furniture, lighting, and rugs designed to make you feel good in your surroundings.

We are proud to be an authorized dealer for some of the best European and American furniture makers that have stood the test of time, including Carl Hansen & Søn, Fritz Hansen, Vitra, GUBI, Fredericia, Knoll, Muuto, Ethnicraft, and L.Ercolani, and to offer local North Carolina-made furniture from Thayer Coggin, Precedent, Charleston Forge, and Bernhardt Design.  We also seek out unique products from a broad base of global design talent, like hand-blown glass bubble chandeliers from New York-based PELLE and modern rugs made with ancestral techniques from Barcelona-based Nanimarquina.

We will share where and how each thoughtfully-selected piece is designed and made so you can write your own design story.

We enjoy parntering with the Trade, and welcome architects and interior designers to work with us.

We value sustainability, and work to select furnishings made from natural materials to minimize our environmental impact and to enhance human health and wellbeing. Many of our manufacturers design products inspired by nature that make use of recycled materials, limit harmful substances, and source wood exclusively through sustainably managed forests. As a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, we are committed to continuous improvement in our sustainability efforts.
